Just was watching the news, saw president talking about 90% of US citizen wanted the new gun laws passed. Just wondering how many of you on here are for their new gun law or against it.

What's wrong with the old laws, probably just need to actually enforce those. Instead of adding more.

Against.... What gives them the right to tell me what I can and can't own. We have the right to bare arms!!! But we need better back ground checks and better restrictions on who can buy them. That I am for.

I've been following it! Which is why congress voted against a more extensive back ground check. (That I don't understand why they would.) So who are you telling to get educated.

Everybody in general. The bill didn't pass because it made no sense. Background checks for online and gun show purchases. But If want to sell you one in Walmart parking lot ...perfectly legal. I'm a supporter of all rights not just the second amendment. As far as I can tell a ban is not even on the table

Your exactly right cricket. I do wish they would make a law against selling at gun shows, home, online, ect... With out having a proper back ground check. Who know's what type of person they are selling them to.

Liberal politicians don't care about citizens safety. They fear armed patriots. Until they disarm America they are afraid to extend their agenda.

Wow.... to me this isnt a left or right issue. It's more common sense. While I support the right to own all types of firearms. I don't think we need to arm everybody...common sense. How does the NRA pay these politicians for their loyalty. Its not your dues that pay their campaign funds ...its the good people of mossberg and colt. So get a good understanding of gun legislation up for vote then decide. Don't listen to either side of the rhetoric.

Nobody said it was a left or right issue. Politicians on both sides want to disarm you so they can have more POWER. They are afraid of an armed uprising. That's why the founding fathers put in the second amendment.

Well you specifically mentioned liberal politicians. A weapon does not equal power in this country. The founding fathers gave us the second amendment to use only when democracy fails. You still have your vote. Most waste it on lobby backed wastes of space
