I'm not complaining but I'm just wondering. I been lookin at other blueticks and I don't see any with as much brown on their face. He is full blooded. I don't have papers because I got him from the pound. He likes bear(had it bayed and bit it twice :D ) and loves coon(he gets more aggressive the longer he stays on it). Anyone might know what kind of blood he has in him?

blueticks and walkers are bred away from an english hound and will still have alot of traits show up on them down the line of breeding;
at one time the walker and english were registered as the same dog.

He's cute and if he pleases you that's what matters. My favorite dog of all time doesn't have papers and isn't pretty in a classical coonhound sense.

I was told to never assume a dog is a bluetick or an english cause if you get it wrong, you'll get your head snapped off...your response to bluejacket proves that advice :lol:
