It's a Fox Squirrel. Everyone asks that, I always thought they were crazy cause here in KY we have both but turns out everyone else has Grey Squirrels. And we have A LOT more Fox Squirrels then we do Grey.

We have fox squirrels, but they dont have no reddish color to them. Ours have a lot of black, esp the tail and head. Not uncommon to see a solid black one and they are a good bit bigger than a cat squirrel.

not bad at all for not even having a gun in the woods...its a shame you had to UGLY ALL THOSE OUT OF THE TREES :D

All I have ever seen is red and brownish, your gonna have to get me a picture of a black Fox Squirrel. I have heard of squirrels that were pure black but I have never seen em and I don't know their name. And yes, Fox Squirrels are quite a bit larger then others.

we have gray cat squirrels and red fox and big blacks ones here in Mississippi
