Well there both a work in progress, the redbone is 3 she was givin to me a few months back she hasnt been hunted in 2 years when she was a pup. I recently just got her treeing. Shes treed a few den trees and 3 possums, coon just aint movin around here much it dont seem like. The other pup is 9 month english blue shes not doin much yet treed a few possums and a couple released coons. Im thinkin about investing in a broke hound if these 2 dont make it been a bad year for me. What about your hounds there thats a good lookin redbone

I have had the redbone running and treeing a hot track since she was about 6 months old but she needs some more time in the woods not many places to hunt down in new Orleans as for the blue tick he's only 7 weeks old and just got him.

Well boys my red bone didn't again .... I don't mean to sound like an excited school girl but I'm so proud of my Lil red dog last night was her first coon solo, then tonight she went out and did it again!!! She wasn't fast at all but she made the tree and used her nose to find it ... this wasn't a jump and run. She never even seen this one :)

Now my question is .... she got to the bottom of the tree and whimpered ... like I think she was waiting for my approval ... iv never beat this dog off a tree she has never slick treed never treed a grinner ... so why and where did she get this whimper from!?!? Thanks for any and all input!

Did the last coon she got have alot of fight left, maybe got a bite or two on her? What I'm getting at is I have a older hound that loves the fight, but if coon give'er a good fight she a little weak on next tree. Opposite for my pup though, he really gets turned on from good scrap, but he's a freak. How's the new pup doing? ....................more coon-less booze

No the last coon hit the ground twitching!!! The pup is doing good he tries to keep up with the red dog but he is just to small! I have been working him in the day light with a hide and he seems to like it! I just wish I could get him to bark at it not just Chase it and chew on it.. I already have one dog that is silent on track was kinda hoping he would at least open a lil!!!

No more pellet gun like you took down that Godzilla coon with?? Careful wishing Danny that lil' blue dog be bigger than you someday, silent on track.....you'll hear busting down everything in the timber.
