I have been meaning to post pictures of these pups for a few weeks but jus now had time. We bred a kemmer cur to our female black mouth cur and the pups didnt come out lookin like we thought they would. most of them actually look like mountain curs. There were 2 White/Tan ones, 1 one solid black, and four brindle ones. It was just kind of a wierd incident because we know a man who breeds the sister to our blackmouth and she has produced pups that mostly hold her color. The brindle and black confuses me. Oh well, these are still some good lookin pups at 5 weeks old.
This is our blackmouth.

Here is what happens when you mix OMCBA Mountain Cur with Bluetick. We didn't mean for it to happen but I ended up being glad it did because I kept the one up top. He's ALOT bigger now. I'll post some more later. All the others turned out like cur, he's the only one with any tick in him. Thanks for the post. It really is hard to know what's gonna happen when a cur is involved. haha.

As you can see, the only thing he got from the cur side was the black/brown brindle in the head and along the side... just about everything else came from my Bluetick... He's gonna be a big one, that for sure...
