Hi, I'm new here. My family adopted a hound from a rescue group a year ago and we are not sure what type she is. The paperwork from the pound said just hound and the rescue group paperwork says she is a Plott hound (her brother was solid reddish brown brindle, whereas only her spots are reddish brown brindle) but I'm not really sure she is. She bays like a hound and has treed raccoons a couple of times. She's is probably the best dog I've ever had. Smart, a fast learner, an excellent running partner, and good with kids.
This one is right after we got her.
The next two are when she was right around a year old this past spring. It is hard to tell in the pictures, but she has red ticking all over. She is also very long bodied compared to her height and rather lean, which the pictures don't show very well.
