My pup treeing one of his first ones. He would track but not tree for a while, but it was just like flipping a light switch for him one night. He's getting better every night.

These are my three best dogs, Walker, Hank and Dozer with thier first coon as a pack. I bought these dogs from 3 different people of the last 15 months, trained them all summer for cat hunting, and for kicks took them out on a night hunt to see how they did on coons. :)
Image
This is Walker my Lead dog when he aint bumpin ELK!:) he came from western Oregon and did very well up there on cats. He is working out ok, but struggles with the dry ground of southern NM.
Image
This is Dozer, my strongest pack dog, never leaves the tree and always supports the other dogs. He was not like this when I got him, but 5 months of work, and he is a really great addition to my pack. Not the strongest nose, but all the drive of a true champion.
Image
This is Hank, he has the best noze of all my dogs, he is just learning what to do with it. Hank was the first hound I bought. I purchased him as a started pup and he put 2 lions in the trees for me last season. He went 23/26 trainers over the summer and some were in 90 degree heat. He came from Oregon as well, but from a different hunter. I have already asked for a female from his next litter.
