There is a difference between blueticks and gascons. The UKC registered Bluetick male has to be less than 87 lbs I think. And the females could be as small as somewhere around 45 lbs. (I'm not sure of the exact weights.) But there is a minimum and maximum weight. A 120 lb blue tick male would be rejected from a bench show for violating breed standards.
