They are a great pistol for shooting prarie dogs and other small game, that is when they are equipted with a good quality scope. I wouldn't want to pack one through the woods though, due to the balance and size. I use a small bipod when firing mine it or a good rest helps for better accuracy. I wish Ruger would have offered this in .22 Hornet. Jim

Best thing sence they made belt lights got a good red dot scope and sling on mine! Getting around in under brush made easy plus I can shot a penny at 25 yards 9 out of 10 times !
I just recently bought one. I put a simmons pro hunter 2-6x32mm scope on it. Just got back from sighting it in. At 50 yards I was having nickel size groups consistently.At 100 yards, they were a little more spread out, but the wind was blowing pretty good. I like it and think it is an accurate little gun.
