ruger single six chambered in 22 mag if i want to knock it out dead or cci 22 cb if i want to see a little fight on the ground.
just what i use, because it is hilly and the woods are pretty thick here in upstate s.c.

i have a savage 22 long rifle with a scope an a 10 round clip . it is pretty good on ,<squiril an coon>. an the mininite kid down the raod has a 22pump action .so that is what i use

Papers mean a little but i haven't seen papers put a coon up a tree!

I have a marlin 22mag that is my favorite gun. I have many guns but this gun, if it was legal, could do it all i'm quite sure of it. The 22 mag is great for coons especially the big ones we often come across up here.

22 loaded with good bullets (YellowJackets or CCI Mini-Mag HollowPoints)

20 gauge shotgun. Wouldn't work well though if I were hunting in those high tree areas like I see a lot of pictures of around here.

the younger kids use a ruger 10/22 with a rifle barrel & red dot inside a regular scope.



if i don't use the rifle i use one of these a ruger single six 22 or a s&w with a red dot or a walthers p22 with a laser .

this is what i use 22s ruger markIII and H&R sportsman

i have a ruger 10/22 that i put alot of extras oni use when i whant em out alive it can put a 10 shot group 1/4 at 50 yards. remington 22mag gets um out dead as a hammer. and a marlin 22 with open sights just for fun. i also been with people who use 20 gauge shotgun

The Crickett loaded with premium ammo is hands-down the BEST Coon buster - and I've tried just about all of them.

2nd place would have to go to a good, slim & trim 10/22.

....I have killed more with a Remington model 552 than anything else....
