tricolor wrote: I use a lightweight 22 over 410 guage. I've found this works great up here in upstate ny. sometimes the old coons wont look at you but you know about where they are. If you dump a 410 birdshot in their direction it gets their attention, then you can finish em with a 22. It's got a plastic stock and forearm very light weight. Also with the 410 you can bring home an occasional rabbit or grouse!! ive been looking for 1 of these cant seem to find 1 if any1's got one for sale let me know please. oh yea i use a 22 lr pistol ol 6 shooter aint real pretty just reliable!

I have an old monkey with a flash light and a pocket knife. Just send him on up boogidy boogidy boogidy... lol Gotta love clower. When the monkey aint huntin I use a 10-22 but am thinkin of gettin into a bearcat or ruger six. A pistol would be much easier totin through these nasty viney swamps here.

i have discovered one thing about training dogs... to begin with you have to be smarter than the dog...now if it turns out that the dog is smarter than you trade him in on one that is a little dumber ! ...... come on sunset !

i use a savage mark 2 with a 2-7x32 scope.
i would have to inspect one real well before i bought another, the front sight wasnt even centered on the barell, then the rear sight slid off and the mag is kind of loose. for 137 bucks i geuss you get what you pay for. I like the scope for the tall tree's now that I have it tho.
