I mounted a red laser and spot from the NITELIGHT catalog on top of a 9x32 Simons. That setup is great.
this is really late but anyway. it doesn't matter what you buy or to whom makes a product, there is always going to be lemons. even in the very expensive gun makers. I had a 1200 dollar colt gold cup trophy handgun that i had to send back to get fixed.
The chipmonk is way better by now your probably digging your shells out of your crickett. my chipmonk works like new and its the straitest shooting of all my small 22's its around 10 years old now.
