eh already bought it.. i think its gonna do just fine.. i just wanted it because it is small and light and i can shoot it with one hand on the spot light and the other on the gun.. and when i am carrying it all night it doesnt hit my back a million times and make it sore. i think im gonna be satisfied with it

haha yeah i forgot to mention that to !! you DONT need a clip. if you miss the coon most likely will still be in the tree. and if not the dogs will get it !

Carried one for awhile and thought it was the grandest thing since sliced bread. If you like fumblin around for shells and using a knife to eject shells, to each his own. My time in the woods is too limited to waste.

Well when you are excited it is harder to put a shell in a gun, and say for example you have a dog treed on two tree's and you shoot a coon and he hits the ground ready to fight and you are the first thing it see's, try to put a shell in then.

how many of you shoot open sights? and how many use scopes? For coons that is. Those who use open sights will know why I say use a clip.

Id like to see you do that to a coon that is belly shot, or maybe its just the coons in your parts that you can kick in the head.

I hate a scope at night...........I just use open sight.......LOL, I can aim and shoot better without the scope.

Reedblue, i try not the shoot the coon in the belly i want as less wholes in it as possible unless were knockin it out to the dogs, and i live in ohio and yeah i have kicked them in the head, trust me it stuns them, lol i just found out that my stock for my crickett is hollow so i cant hit them in the head iwth that.. and buckshot my buddy uses a 22 with opens sights he loves them, he doesnt think he could get used to using a scope at night and im just the opposite i guess its just preference. i would find it hard to use open sight with the crickett though becuase it has a peep hole instead of the other sight.. i wish i did like it cuz i think the scope weighs more than the gun hahaha....

I have shot a few with the cricket and to be honest that peep sight works nice in the dark.
