On the birdshot, remember ya got to be about 4 inches away from your target (lol) On the lad badmouthing your black and tan,,well guess there aint much to say,,,I hunt two black and tan majestics from de lee bros in n.y. and three gascon blues from womack out of missiouri and a redbone,,,,,,,,,,,,,,hunt deer and bear,,,,have never owned a walker type hound unless he was crossed that was any good for my type of hunting...so its up to the dog and the owner..the gascons are the most fearless hound i ever had,,,and delee.s are the best handling ,,,,,,,,walkers ha spend a day looking for em.............and i dont want a long argument ,just stating a fact

thanks for complementing my dog.PR booms' ace (my pup) is out of some really good lines.i emailed CCI and they told it wouldnt hurt it. The only thing is that i have to load them one at a time since it is a automatic.i only paid 150 for the 22 brand new. Its a marlin 795. I got it mainly for coon hunting but if i knew the birdshot was going to hurt i wouldnt use it,since it dosent hurt it im going to try it.

Would it mess the rifling in my .22 up Its never hurt my gun but it will give you a pattern with a diameter of ten foot if you're more than a foot away. Bird shot wont hurt the rifling of you barrel. Dont worry about the "other guy". I hunt with blue dogs, but have to admit, those are some fine looking hounds you have there. Keep em blowing the tops out of the trees!

i wouldnt see why a bird shot would ive shot many threw my gun and it still shots fine. and myself i favor english but thats all ive ever had. not to big on black and tan but ive seen black and tan tha would take control over the whole woods. i dont believe in a certain breed i believe in if its a coonog its a coondog no matter what breed it is.

if you shoot it clean you rifle extra good. it leaves alot of powder residue in your gun. thats the only problem with it. and the fact that it spreads so much. but its really neat i think. you can buy old smoothbore 22s for really cheap, but then it is classified as a shotgun and if its too short you broke the law so be careful with smoothbores.

ive hunted walkers and english and i have redbone pup right now that im just getting going, but i never really liked b&ts but this guy wanted me to hunt his as much as i can, and if i didnt have this redbone pup i would have kennels full of B&TS now... its the best dog ive ever seen... i know it doesnt matter bout the breed but i really am starting to like them
