 Post subject: Putting in a kennel

I'm putting in a new kennel for my hound should I lay cement down or just dirt what do all of you guys do or think

Mine is a 12x12 on dirt at the moment but I'd sure like to have concrete down.

concrete is costly, and if you move, it stays. I used 2'x2' patio pavers with smooth finish on top of compacted crushed rock. cheaper and portable!

I always prefer a cement. It is easy to clean and maintain.
