Is it possible to house 2 dogs within the same enclosure? I have an old chicken coop that I will be converting to my kennel, the outside pen is 88 squre feet, would this be enough area for 2 dogs?

My friend keeps 3 bear dogs in a 40by40 pen. Each dog has a house with a chain just in case.Wolves are his prob. he usta chain em only. He feeds them on top of houses. Maybe he is lucky they dont fight. My hounds could live like that to but i keep em separate.

we have coon and coyote walker hounds. My coon dogs get along great and two stay in pen together most time. Our coyote hounds we put numerous ones together one pen is approx. 30x 50, we usally have four males together in that pen one dog house 4x4 some arguing on occassion but mainly over feed. never anything serious just a growl now in then.

I had two dogs born 7 months apart that were raised together in a 12x12 kennel they are now 3.5 years and 3 years old, 3 times in the last year they have gotten in a fight. The last time the older one almost killed the younger one. Now I have them seperated into two 6x12 kennels.
If you do put two males in the same kennel keep an eye on them, especialy if you have a female when she comes into heat.

i let dogs run in a dog lot to socialize, but i think each dog should have its own pen.

Ive had problems with males together, females together and males and females together. i just separate them saves me having to staple up wounds from them fighting. And unplanned litters. Its just easier for me. i start separating them @ 6 months.

I have each of mine on a six-seven (12-14 ft circle) foot chain staked out. They are close enough theycan interact without getting tangled. They all share water buckets and get along well. I let em run in the back yard (fenced in) atleast once a week to play. Never had a fight here. A few grumbles over new dogs once or twice but nothing past that. I do not tolerate ill dogs

I have had two litter mate male walkers together since I got them at 3 months old. They just turned 1 in April and finally got the second kennel up to seperate them. I hadnt seperated them yet and they got into it. They both got some cuts on the ears and are seperated now.

i keep two plotts and a stephens cur in my small back yard. except for the cur being possesive they get along fine. the cur will even claim the area under the deck. a plott will try to get under the deck for shade and she'll growl and block the way. i get the hose and spray water under there to run her to her house. as soon as i do, the plotts claim the under the deck.
