So I was thinking today that my dogs needed a new house so I built these they are made out of 30 gal drums I got from my job.

Just checked my dogs, not gonna lie the barrels are not as big as 55 gals (obviously lol) but they are curled up buried in shavings, they actually look very toasty,

I was just thinking. If they fit, you could put the smaller one inside a 55 gallon and insulate in between them like a double walked house!

Yeah you could do that, but it don't get that cold here in the Central Valley. But it's totally do~able they like them and they don't take much room in my kennel

I had a 30 gallon barrel made for beagles, and my buddies 65lb black n tan that I was running for him curls right up inside it! my hounds don't like it though- too small I guess
