start you a bait pile, in two to three days you'll see tracks, make sure to use cover scent and wear rubber boots too, then put snares or leg traps in isles/paths that are used by yotes. Good luck! P.S. sometimes it may take more time for them to get comfortable enough to start eating carcass but they will eventually start comeing to it.

I always used the good ole flat set, take ya a piece of old fire wood or a small piece of wood outa the woods, place the set upwind of from were yur seein tracks ect. take ya little sheeps wool for a scent holder an use a gland lure or one of my favs is evanence from kattzbroslures.com put the lure in the center of the log in the ground barely covering the the wool push it in the ground bout a inch or so with a stick or i use the driver for my desposible stakes to make a small hole an use a stick th push it in. Its important if theres grass, dirt whatever the surroundings is to make it look as natural as possible, I bed the trap bout 3 ta 4 inches out from the scent an blend it in whatever the surroundings are I sprinkle fox urine around to cover any traces of human scent You can also use a call lure to call em into the set. I myself use wax paper as a trap pan cover I always rust, die an wax my traps for k-9 trapping an only handle em with leather gloves. I caught 56 coyote in 3 weeks usin this set you can also make scent post sets, dirthole sets I use a bait type lure in dirthole sets. good luck
