A while back I noticed there was a hole directly underneath my dogs kennel door. The kennel floor is cement and there are multiple holes popping up from all around the pen. Every morning I go out to feed the dogs and there is yet more and more fresh dirt being put at the end of the hole. I ran the garden hose to it once just to see if I could flush out the critter, the water finally started to rise to the top of the holes after about an hour or so of steady flooding. Anyone know what kind of animal this could be? I have considered maybe it is rats, but could anything else dig this steady? I live in southern VA if the area helps at all determining what this critter is. If anyone knows what kind of animal this is, what do I bait it with?
