I've never sold any hides I've gotten but I'm wondering are coon hides even worth selling? How much are they going for in NC? How do I find somewhere to sell them?

I don't know about NC but here in arkansas my best coon went for $8 this season and $12 last year. I would think prices should be bout the same there. You might check NC fish an game website for a fur buyer list.

$7 on rats aint bad at all! and if you take the time and do a good job fleshing and streching you can add a couple bucks to the price of a fur

I agree with the guy above, if your going to kill it, need to skin it!!! :) I have talked to some guys and done a little research and coon are suppose to be $26 top for JUMBO coon! Usually the Market reports over shoot the prices by about $5. So here in Mo, I think we should get around 20 tops!! And average around $12 to $15! Last year we averagred aroung $11 and $17 top. The hide market is coming back, but alot of the overall prices comes down to what China and Russia will pay!
