Techno did you know that now that is a big misconception. Take Nissans over half of nissans parts are made in north america I do believe it is in the 80 percentile. All Nissans but two are made in either Tennessee or Mississippi. The only two Nissans made overseas is the Marano and the 350Z. Now most "American" made vehicles parts are made in Mexico or Canada. Toyota is the same way as Nissan but mostly made in Indiana. Nissan has corperate offices in California and are building some in Tennessee now. So it is false that if you buy foriegn now you are not supplying American jobs You are actually supplying more.

You can thank the Unions for that one. They are crippling Detroit and the Big 3.

I own a GMC 4X4 for rough spots when I hunt but I have owned 2 Nissans in my lifetime. The first one was a 91 model that I put over 500,000 miles on and it never gave me any major problems and is still someone's daily driver to this day.

i now own a 2007 Titan with the biggest v-8 they make and it can flat out smoke any Chevy or Ford in it'sclas. Everyone who rides in it with me is blown away with it;s power and torque.

Plus..it is made right here in Tennessee.

I have a 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac, great for the kids but not so much for the dogs. I would like it better if it was 4WD. It gets me to college and back, so it's good.

My husband has a 1996 Chevy S-10 4x4 with those Maxxis Mudder 31-10-50 tires. It wouldn't kick in to 4WD the last time he tried, so he's probably ready to shove it off a cliff. He's been talking about wanting a Toyota Tacoma extended cab 4x4 lately.

Whenever we finally win the lottery, he can buy as many trucks and dogs as he wants. LOL!
