Racing in a Ford is like the special Olympics, even if you win you’re still a retard!

I wish people would watch what they say.................... That may be a joke to you, but for some forum members, that is a reality.

I was notified a few minutes ago about the tasteless joke. I already knew someone on this forum who has a child that is special. Now I know of 2 people who have special children.

With over 10,000 forum users, I doubt they are the only 2.

I can't relate to the fact of what it feels for them to see those type comments as I am not in their shoes.

I do know what the reaction is like as I made an special olympics joke many years ago back in high school and watched a girl break down and start crying.........I did not know her brother was mentally retarded.........Lesson learned in the face of someone who has a special family member.

I felt 2 foot tall and like crap after it happened. To this day when I see her, that image of that day comes back to me. And I still feel 2 foot tall when I see her.

Just know that this forum has a wide variety of members from different parts of the country, different nationalities, and different circumstances such as having special children.

I am reminded back to that old nursey rhyme that goes: Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.

I learned many years ago that is not true. By the email I recieved tonight, those words did hurt.

as you can see above I never was good at the name calling and trash talking I like to prove it

basically all I need is something to bring me there and bring me back there next time I feel like going then maybe go somewhere ells after going over there, and maybe back home...huh... my truck may not be the fastest but it hasn't left me any where's yet

Never liked a dodge, 3 years ago bought a 3/4 4x4 automatic ext cab with the cummins. That sucker will get 22 mpg running 75 down the highway. For hunting it toyotas for me, when I say I am hard on them thats an understatement, I have sighthounds as well and I spend 8-10 hours a day in rough pastures 4 to 5 days a week chasing coyotes with my staghounds in the winter and the yotas hold up real well. Fuel mileage generally sucks for the power though (10-14) in my coyote wagon but I may drive 8 hours and not go 60 miles so its hard to tell. I use the 87-94 with IFS. Also have 3/4 Ford with the 6.0 powerstroke, its a pullin jesse but about 14 mpg at best ever.
