I'm not sure I agree with farm boy, I hunted out of a 1993 Rodeo that had 265,000 miles on it, the worst thing was the smell in there when the dogs got wet. I had one box that went in behind the seats and one that fit in with the back seat down. You haul 2 dogs in the small one and 4 in the other. That thing saved me a pile of money going around to the hunts and pleasure hunting. Had a 88 ford with a 351 and couldn't pass the gas station without stopping. Oh yeah, I got a fan that run off the cigarette lighter and roll the windows down and really helped with the smell and kept the dogs cool! Got a 1996 right now and it's going strong at 148,000!

I know what you are talkin about. I got a 3/4 to that gets around 8 mpg . It was killing me on gas. I started looking for a small truck and found a 2 door trooper. I went to Wal- Mart and bought a wire kennel that fits in the back and can hold 3 dogs easy 4 if ya crowd em a little. This thing is short ,narrow and will go anywhere. It isn't much more then a big 4 wheeler, plus it gets great gas milage

80's to mid 90's SR5 Toyota 4x4 pickups are the only way to go. They get great fuel milage and with vary little mods they can haul as many dogs as you need and they wheel better then any thing out there. My truck is the post that says"this is my rig" I haven't had any problems with'em and they last forever.
