the end of last winter i had to replace the master cylinder that came with my jeep and it blew out again on the drive back from work tonight. lol 2 blocks from my house. was the replacement i got in the winter crappy or is there a problem with the way the clutch is? i did use dot 3 brake fluid the guy at the auto parts store said it would be fine to use instead of hydrulic clutch fluid. could that be hurting the master cylinder? and cuasing the problem?

As far as the dot 3 brake fluid no it wont hurt anything i run it in my truck. and it sounds to me like u got a defective master cyclinder. i would just get another one. after you get another one and if that crap's out onto you then i would start to look around and see if you cant find any answers.
