I could not find Cushman in the search. Has anyone had any experience with these micro trucks? I have a chance to buy one that is probably 25 yrs. old. Looks like it would be a need little coon huntin' machine. It has a large flat bed that would be more than enough to hold a full size dog box. I can get a pair of tractor type lug tires for 150 bucks. I am just about to pull the trigger, but wanted to know if anyone could tell me how they get around off road. Thanks.

A friend of mine has a similar vehicle made by Dihatsu (I'm sure I spelled that wrong). My suggestion would be to save the money from the tires and buy a 5,000 lb. winch. If nothing else, I've learned one thing- mud tires on a 2 wheel drive will only get you MORE stuck. A 5,000 lb winch will get that little unit out of anything you can get it into.
