thinking about a snowmobile whats the dif between long track or short track what one works better I have the chance to get a polaris 340 classic 2004 will that work or to small i am new to useing a sled any help would be good thanks again

a long track is longer than a short track.....lol
the long track will give you better traction and more speed off the line but it will weigh a little more which might slow you down a fuzz. I like the long tracks better.

also a long track is better for off trail riding or riding in snow that isn't packed and that is fluffy :roll: a short track is good if you are trail riding cause of less weight also i think a short track is easier to trow around when riding if not studed of course. just my .02 :lol:

Depends on the terrain also. If yur gonna be climbing I know a longer track is better. I guess it all depends what yur going to do with it and where u live!
