my brother has an early 80's truck im pretty sure it has a bow-low 4 speed tranny in it and he says he can only shift into first and cant get into any other gears ...i was thinking master cylinder maybe but i dunno

any help would be sweet ...

The problem is pretty vague :?

Is it clutch problems or tranny problems? Does he have a stiff pedal, can you see the slave pin moving the fork?

Maybe the linkage is bound, or the pilot bushing or input gear is worn out. Does it not shift with the engine off, or on or both?
