went hunting by myself last night...hit a little strip of woods and a creek by a corn field....treed one knocked it out and called dad to come pick me up...perfect night.....the weather has been perfect in western ohio!

it has been really clear and all this rain and then cold isnt helping here.. seems liek the night it rains the sky is clear adn the night the sky isnt clear the cold has moved in to put frost all over the ground for hard tracking!!! driving me insane!! :evil:

has a good night last night....ran a really good track because the ground is soft and wet. knocked two out of the same tree and headed for home!

I've tried a couple times now. Treed on a few dens. But coon must have been right around the tree cause tracks where short. Anyone have any luck anywhere?

Sounds like its almost a waste of time to go out in the snow... i dont care if i dont ever get anything...but i like to hear my dog atleast track and work a litte...but if they are just short tracks that lead to den trees... i dont want to waste my time just hearing a 20 second chase.

Went out last night since it warmed up. Got one on the first drop. wasnt in the woods for 3 mins and treed. hit anouther woods and treed on 2 dens.

I have been waiting to go today and tomorrow but now I am sick... So hopefully i will go to school and go out! Looks like a good night to hunt though....tell me how you all do tonight!!
