Anyone huntin around New York. Im out of Afton Ny 13730.
would sure like to get some coon hunters togather maybe start a small unofficial club. throw some BBQ's and pleasure hunts.

I run a 3 year old male papered walker. Has been a good true dog to me since ive owned him..
my huntin buddy that i live with has a 7 month old redbone male
we are sittin on 80 acres with stream and springs.
surrounded by state forest and farm land i have permission to take coons off.

I am about 3 hours away or I would be in. This is a good idea. Kinda have like a poker night but run dogs instead.?

Thats exactly it. just have hunts I respect all the comp hunters but ill never be more then just a pleasure hunter.
NO OFFENCE but the few times i do run into other coon hunters in the woods they tell me about there amazing comp dogs and last time i watched him slick tree 1.5 miles in the thick and i sure was glad for my ol dog when his two "prized hounds" did that.. i mean all dogs mess up granted but ive seen alot of slick tree bs from "comp dogs"

I have the place and the means. Just to keep the sport alive and meet some new people who are always ready to drop the tailgate!

I live in Greene and have a good young walker also. Have 3-- 4 month old pups by him that are already barking on cage coon. Have done the comp thing myself many years ago and have seen alot of bad dogs myself. I am retired and am looking for someone to hunt with also. I am only interested in pleasure hunting also. I live in whitney point and a good friend of mine lives in marathon we have a pair of smoking English dogs one is non paperd but runs great the other is out of swamp roster we would be interested I a club.
