Just got my cur pup back from trainer. She is about half started and needs a lot of woods time. I live near Tuckerton. I plan to go a few week day nights (fairly close to home) and run also on weekends (can go further). Really looking for someone who has a broke dog that would be a good pup starter. If you live an hour or two away and are into coon dogs shoot me an im. Thanks for reading.

It is after September 1 so the WMA's are open. Anyone want to run?

Best thing you can do is run the dog by herself. However it does get old hunting by yourself, but that's what makes a good dog

Not afraid to hunt alone and do it a lot. Just thought maybe I would meet a fellow coon hunter on here in my area.

Thanks for the info. With our WMA's open and nights cool I would think someone would be going.

Chances are if there are hunters in your area, unfortunately they probably won't be on here. I've had the best luck, meeting people through the local club hunts

Im in Ohio and the hunting has been tough this past week. Very bright moon don't even have to turn your light on to walk through the woods. Its like hunting during the day

The moon certainly does not seem to help me get my pup going. Looking forward to no moon and some hot coon tracks.
