Post subject:  Coon hunters around the Winchester, VA area?

I am pretty new to the area (from northern PA). I have a Stephens cur pup that is a year old and ready to get in the woods. I was wondering if there is anyone in the area that has a good dog that wouldn't mind letting me and the pup tag along. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey I just saw your post now, I am in the Manassas, Va area. You have some National Forest out by you, but by far the best place for you is G.R. Thompson WMA, come 66E, take the Markham exit, go back under the highway and up the mountain to Thompson lake, its not marked so go in the daytime and drive that road until you see that lake off to your left, next road will be the entrance. The WMA is 4500 acres and full of coon, there is a good trail all around the lake to walk your dog. I have a half Bluetick half mountain cur that will tree day or night. gimme a call or text when you wanna go 540-383-9364
