I am planning a move to Prescott,AZ anyone know how the hunting is in that area.I like it all but the Bears. Also what breed of hound seems to work best ?? fgrimm

Yeah, I know the area well. I've hunted just north of you. Williams, AZ. I also hunt in the southern part of the state. I live and hunt in NM now.
Very dry hunting conditions. You do get your rains in the afternoon from about late June to the middle of Sept. Hunt your dogs early... I like getting in the woods by 3-4 am. This time of year is tough on the hounds. Don't over hunt them in the heat. Take lots of water.
What type of hounds you running and what type of game are you after?
