I am new to wa I moved from north idaho where you can hunt coon year round and still hunt bear and cat with hounds and know i live where you can only hunt coon but I dont know if you can run your dogs on coon after the kill seasone i have called the f.w.d but know one can give me any info and the one thay say can give me the info will not retern my calls its hard to fallow the laws if thay dont give u the info you need so any info would be helpfull

The 2010 hunting regulations are out and should tell you specifically when you can you can hunt coons with hounds. If my memory serves me correctly, sometime in September is when it opens and then closes in October for the modern firearms deer and elk seasons and then reopens in December, closing again sometime in March. Read the regulations to get the specific dates as these are just guesstimated time frames.
