You should check out the water race in Rainer, OR. July 30 and 31. There should be plenty of people from your area there.

Well I surely can't call myself a coon hunter because im just getting started, but I have my pup and plan on coon hunting him this fall. so at the end of the season we'll see if I can call myself a coon hunter. I live 2 hours south of Portland

If you are two hours south of PDX, then you are real close to Marys Peak Hound Club.

10/8/11 3pm Bench Show and 7pm NH UKC registered dogs only.

11/12/11 7pm Doernbacher fundraiser, not a UKC event, so all dogs welcomed. $25/dog This event gives houndsmen in Oregon cred with rest of state, between OUSDA and MPHC, we've been donating for years and getting some good publicity.

12/3/11 UKC same as 10/8

1/14/12 Youth hunt 6pm, free to kids and they can win savings bonds. All dogs welcome or one can be provided for houndless youth
