Hello,
I was wondering if there was anyone in the Austin area (actually Bastrop) that would be interested in letting me tag along on a few hunts. I bought myself a bluetick pup and have been working with her. I would like to get out in the field without the pup and just get some pointers and learn as much as possible.

Appreciate it! I used to work outside of Lufkin at a boys and girls camp. I have spent a lot of time hiking those woods. However, none of it was spent hunting. If I make it your way I will keep you posted.

I am the other direction, west of you at Menard. I know that there are several coonhunters in the Bastrop area. One Bastrop gentleman goes by DRP on the UKC site. He is a good fellow and hunts some nice blue dogs.
