looking at some land up/out lol that way and just wondering if there were that many coons out in WY. I looked up the game laws and there is no closed season on them, as they are considerd a predatory animal. look at some land close o the montana border.

I am in SD but I have crossed the state line into Wyo to hunt coons. While no one thinks of Wyo as a coon hunting state, they are scattered arouynd the state. There are areas of irrigated farm land and ranch feed lots to hold them. Good luck hunting!

I live here in Laramie. Like mel said if you can hit the diches and creeks especiall where you are thinking of buying, you are in for a good hunt not a great one like east of here but a good one. Now that thing you have to keep in mind is that it gets pretty cold here with that dam wind, so in the winter time they are more likely to hibernate for longer periods of time than other out east. Fyi.

i live in kinnear wyo in central west and we run a 400 or 500 a year just to give u numbers but there is alot of corn and grain around to
