Michigan Swamp rooster is the current #1 historical male reproducer with 127 nite chs, 88 Grnite ch, out of 2440 pups that were perm. registered. His son New River Rebel is #9 on the current top male reproducers. Michigan Swamp Rooster's brother Ball's Virginia Swamp Rooster did not make either list but his son Hardtime Swamp Cat is #5 on the historical list The roosters were out of Neuse River Rambo and Raffle's Billie Jo. and the sons and grandsons and now great grandsons keep right on winning. |

I have a Red English out of Mich Swamp Rooster right now. 10 month old female. I have a post about her in the English classifieds. She is a small dog just like Michigan Swamp Rooster was. He only weighed about 45lbs. A really small male dog, but was a champion none the less. |

Boy that Butch dog is built like a linebacker. They should have let him breed whatever he wanted. Does anyone have any of the old pedigrees that Tennessee Lead shows up in? I have always wondered what lines of English, walkers, and blueticks he can be found in. |

Thanks Dan, that was a pretty good read. Does anyone know of a popular line today that can be traced back to Lead? |
