not really if both dogs have the traits you like then there is a good chance that they will pass it on. if they both have the same fault then there is a good chance at them passing that on. sometimes you can breed a fault out of a dog by breeding to aog that doesn't have it but there is a good chance some of them will get the bad traits and not be corrected. it is always a crap shoot.
