Does anyone know anything about this dog. I'm thinking about getting my lipper/nailor female bred to him but would like opinions before I pay the $600 stud fee. Thanks

Yeah I kinda thought so too but he is the first dog to have 3 world nitechamps in his 2 generation pedigree that can produce all grand pups.

I'll check him out. The price of the stud doesn't matter to me. I just want to produce some COONDOGS. $600 is a bit much but scar sounds like he would produce some good dogs. But I would like opinions before I do it. My female should finish to nitech this summer and in the fall on her next cycle I plan on breeding her so I have time to think it over.

If it were me I'd breed to a proven stud not a pedigree.

Yea that's a good point. That's why I was kind of checking around with other people to see what their results were this stud.

did a little look up of the scar dog, he has some good pups out there from what i have read. if the 600 dollars is no big deal i would do it.. hes a proven stud dog, your money your choice.

I agree, 600 bucks is a lot for a dog that's not a proven stud. The reason the price might be higher is so people only bring top females to him so there's a better chance of makeing coondogs. Too many people breed females that were never even hunted to big name studs just to sell pups.
