I have owned all different breeds of dogs except a plott. Yet all have their good and their bad. I will say one thing though blueticks are more accurate but yes it does take them longer to work it out. I am a comp hunter and I run walkers and my dogs don't tree unless there is a coon above them. The dog simply reflects its handler. Plain and simple.

I have a blue tick who well conditioned and is a VERY determined hunter she's only 4 mos old and is doing very well I will be running her in competitions as well... If she's having fun I'm having fun she may never be a world champ but she's a champ to me because she never quits
