I have a 5 yr old cameron bitch that came from one of Dels dogs that a friend went up to his house to pick up in montana. She is real accurate and drive, drifts, winds tracks superfast, her mother who del hunted a few times on bear before my friend bought her is a spittin image of her daughter that i bought, I live here in nebraska and the mountain lions are starting to move in, last year they came across one and put it in a brush pile so these dogs even though been runnin coons since they were pups still are multi purpose

From what I hear they are dogs bread by Mr Del Cameron.
You can read about them here http://www.callofthehounds.com/cameron_hounds.htm

I would love to get a picture of some of his hounds for the calendar!

Here is the cameron we have..Stormy. My husband and his friend went in together and bought her. I don't know exactly where/who they got her from. I believe out West.
Bill took her out for the first time bear hunting this week once and he said she impressed him. She is older now than what she is in these pic.s. I think Camerons are pretty.

I would love to get a pic. submitted to you for consideration for the calendar, but I can't get good enough shots of these dogs or Rocky! They just don't cooperate with me! Of course the shots of Rocky are inside not really what one would expect for a coondog!

I went bear hunting with Bill once this week, took my camera in hopes to get atleast one good pic. of something! But, didn't. I may try to brave it enough to go again. Of course I have the summer to try too.

There is one hound that has the best face on a hound that I have ever seen! I just can't explain it. He is a dog of my husbands friend. I love that hound and I want a pup from him. When his owner says "Speak big dog, Speak! He throws his head back and howls! It's soo funny! That would be an excellent picture!

I can do nothing but back up OLD LCK here, I don't think you can go wrong, As he once told me before, they have NO reverse. I can defently vouch for that!!!!! LCK loves his Anderson blueticks it says allot for this hound to still be on his place JMO!!!!!! I have one too and I can't complain. These are bluetick hounds but they were the result of Del Camerons vision of what they should become. There is other lines that were part of it but it was Del's vision and breeding that made it come togeather.

From what I have heard here in Idaho the Clearwater dogs that were part of his foundation weren't to shabby. Not sure if he made them any better or not but it seems that he has kept a good thing going.

What are the traits of this line of blueticks? How are they different than lines such as uctchman that are mainly used on raccoon? I was thinking about adding some of this blood into my hounds.

I have 2 Cameron pups for sell, I've been getting $300 for them. The father of the pups is great hunting lions up here and is out of Jim Harrell's hounds. I got the mother from my brother, Gary Huschle, who has been raising blueticks for over 25 years. he hunts coon, bobcats and lions with his dogs. I have never hunted the dam, but she does have what it takes. If you would like more info on the pups, call me at 406-212-1997, Vera

i know of some good ones i know of some bad ones. just like any line. I know a guy who had one and all the thing did was run away and ##*%* if u walked up to him, i know of another one who is one of the best coondogs ive hunted with. Hunting with the parents is about the best way to have any sort of a clue as to what you may get
