i got my first dog over the summer, im 16 and shes out of smokey river and somethin else out of illinois....she is only six months old and she tracks great and will tree by herself and she is a mix on the tree, when she first gets there she will hop around on the tree but then she backs off and sits about 3 foot off the tree

Though i own and breed black dogs, if i would have a bluetick it would definiatly be smokey river. Hunting with glyn has really put an influencing opinion on blueticks.

I started with a Smokey River bred blue gyp in 1966 and now I'm 62. I always loved the Smokey River bred hounds.
