I am wanting some oppinions. what is the first thing that runs through your mind about this hound?
in my neck of the woods everyone has a nutt dog, and i am just curious what everyone eles thinks of seeing his name on there papers.
i have 4 dogs one being a direct son, and others being offspring of his offspring.
so no holds barred, what do you think?

yeah i love the harry and hayes bloodlines aswell guys. i have a direct son of harry and he is all coondog, no doubt. i just baught a female that is a grand daughter to harry she also has some nailor, rat-attack, and somthing eles i cant recall it right off, anyways, she has 4 of the ol' fashioned legends in her bloodline.
i plan to make this cross if the old man holds up for me, im scared to hunt him anymore he is 12 years old. but he treed ALOT of coon for us last year, i put him into retirement.
i hunted the bitch dog last night and she turned out treeing a big bore coon with my brothers black and tan, he didnt have a light and mine wasnt much, we made it in to them and she was sitting back off the tree about 3 ft and looking up bawling and letting my brothers pup have all the tree she wanted. LOL so im hopeing the cross will come out good.

Not real knollegable with the walker lines. My cousin down the road has the Harry II dog though. He has thrown some realy nice ones. Pretty decent hound. He's got the old Gun dog too, Sackets Gun I believe. Haven't seen alot out of Gun but I can definitly vouch for Harry making some nice ones. Just....suckers don't have enough ticks. =P

cornfield, mine have been the total oppisite of that actully. im sure it has alot to do with the locations you live in however all the nut dogs i have had the pleasure of owning have been smart hunters, they where alot more wide then deep. we have a male dog out of harry and he will run in circles and get bigger and bigger till he strikes a track then he is up on the tree somewhere shortly there after.
