Last year i bought a walker gyp that was 3 turning 4 from an old man in his 70's reminded me alot of my grandfather he talked real good about the dog so i bought her on his word and her papers she is loaded with great blood. This dog has a good track nose but dont always finish up. She does tree coons but after she does look out she may tree three slick in a row till she gets another i believe shes treeing every tree a coon goes up (tap trees) idk any advice

if the tree is slick take her off the tree and circle her around the tree, letting her smell, if the coon tapped, she shoulkd pick it back up by circleing the tree. your smart dogs will do this themselves before treeing. I hunt with one now that will run a track to a tree and give a locate and then its silent, what hes doing is making sure the coon didnt leave that tree. when hes certain its there, hell start treeing
