I pruned (deleted) about 600 members who registered before Nov. 2008 on the forum who have never even logged into the forum. Next on the list is to prune members who haven't logged into the forum since like 2005. It's fixing to be 2009. Those accounts are just taking up dead space. |

A little over 2,000 membership accounts were pruned from the system. Around 600 were from users who registered before Nov 2008 and never logged into the forum for the first time. Around 1,600 were from users who haven't logged in since 2005. |

This is an old post from 2008 concerning pruning the memberlist right before we updated the forum to the newer platform. The memberlist prune has nothing to do with why your ads are being deleted. We have an excessive Bumping and BTT Policy on ads as the bumping and BTT has gotten out of hand. Instead of Bumping an ad before it leaves the first page, use the EDIT button to edit your ad to add additional info - IE; Pics, phone #, and etc. As you will see below, many different ways to find the Policy: Check out the Site News and Announcement section. OR The Forum Code of Conduct and Policies section. OR Click on the Forum Rules Tab at the top of the Classified listings. OR Click on the Forum Rules Tab in the white box at the top of EVERY Classified section. |
