I personally like my ICOM set up. Not only can I track my dogs with it, I can track my buddies dogs if we are hunting together.

I do not have to worry about buying collars in certain channels. I am running 219 and 218 collars on my system right now.

I am happy with my Wildlife system I bought recently. I had it put on a mini antenna at first and had some problems out of it but I sent it back and they mounted it on a folding yaggi and I am very pleased with it. I got the TRX-3, it is a great starter system for someone that is not going to run more than 3 dogs.

me and my buddy own an icom, but when it comes down to it we usually end up using the blue box...not sure what brand it is, but it cost a little over a grand...it works just cherry! :D The icom is nice though when we are coyote or bear hunting because you can track any collar...and as you all know with coyote or bear hunting everyone wants a dog in the run

I like the Tracker system for 2 reasons......

1. you can easily carry it on your belt
2. it is super fast to get too and I personally have not had a problem picking up dogs

If I was getting a new one I would stick with a Wildlife or an ATS. They are the two best recievers on the market. Why do you think Wick has been selling them so long. I would also buy it from Wick cause they are easy to deal with and they will stand behind anything they sell.
