I have owned a Valley Creek Light for almost three years now and love it. It is as bright as I need it to be. Redgey is great and does stand behind his products. I would not buy from anyone else. The main problem I have had is my light going dead, but unless Redgey wants to drive to Tn to plug it up for me before I go hunting there is not much he can do about that. The light is great!!

I'm looking at the Valley Creek 6 volt belt light. I'm new to coonhunting and wanting a intro level light to start with. Anyone have one and do you like it? Also it says it has a gel cell battery is this good or bad? Thanks for the advice.

MY son has a 6 Volt Valley Creek Box light and does it's job.

But if I was going to pay $150 for a 6 volt belt light, I'd think hard about upgrading to the 20 volt belt light that is $235.

Buckshot,
Forgot to thank you for the advice. I took it and bought the 20v budget light instead of the 6 volt. It has been a very good light so far (2 months) and the folks at Valley Creek were real nice and timely with the order.
