I was in Walmart yesterday evening and my 5 year boy saw a bag of Ole Roy dog food and said "Look daddy, that dog food looks like throw up."
LOL, At 5 years old he already knows dog food trash when he sees it.
If your looking for a good feed, try SportMix dog food. I have been using it for about a year now and have been impressed with it.

Also here is a poll you started on Best Dog food with opinions. It is 4 post under this thread.

I think I've feed everything available out west and I wouldn't feed ole roy to my worst enemies dog. Its junk and the price isn't to competative for the high energy stuff. I have fed black gold, purina one, diamond but I prefer the kirkland signature high protein stuff sold at costco. Its 16.99 a bag for 40 pounds and you'll feed half as much as ole' roy. I promise that you are NOT saving money buying ole roy. You'll also have less to clean up. Its a meat based dog food. I drive past 5 walmarts and 3 black gold dealers to buy the stuff. I buy 10 bags at a time since I have to drive 3 hours to get it.

i used to feed that garbage but when running came they lost weight too fast. i dont think what it says on the bag is right. i switched to purina and they do way better now. but i only have 4 mouths to feed so cost ain't that bad. 17.00 a 50lb. other guys i know swear by diamond.

I have feed it for over 15 years and Ole Sam Walton hasn't let my dogs down, they are in Tip Top shape , I feed one cup of Krunchy Bites & Bones it has everything in it any of the others have plus it is rated by aafco not many of the others can say that . You would be surprised ! I used big names but Ol'Roy is the real balanced deal for your money! And also Sam Walton has many proven diets for dogs look him up he hunted world class bird dogs. I feed 21% all year and it does great things for me that is just my opinion thou but I want buy no other don't care what anyone say I see what it does for my hounds and pits. I have no complaints on it!

I fed a bunch of hounds old Roy Hi-performance and they held up well. really like PMI hi-pro, but where I got it stopped sellin it and others had it priced too high. I liked Joy too, but they wouldn't sell it to me from the mill, had to pay inflated prices from the feed stores so it's back to Purina Hi-pro. Paul Conway.
