A buddy of mine feeds Diamond Hi-Performance and he swears by it. I feed River Run Pro it's a 28/22 mixture I think I'm really happy with the results I'm getting from it. I'd like to feed Black Gold but there's nobody around here that carries it.

I use the hi engery and the puppy for both of my hounds. They eat half as much compared to puriana pro plan and its much cheaper. I have noticed my male gaining some weight onto it tho and the pup is still growing like a weed.

I'm the dog department manager at Flint Oak hunting preserve in SE Kansas. We have about 100 dogs that we hunt here, anywhere from 1& half hours to 6 hrs. a day. Feeding Diamond Premium & the dogs look great on it, I would recommend it to anyone, it is great stuff. Feed it to my own hounds also, they look great on it also. Gene.

from what i've seen of it i dont like it. I have only seen the results from the hi energy though. dont know about the chicken and rice, chicken and rice is what i feed but a different brand. To me it seems like diamond goes right through them and is too much corn based food(at least high energy) I open my buddies dog box and there seems to be a pile from every dog in there and once they get out they need to go 2 more times. I feed 26-18 from a company in missouri. Works good for me so far. takes 2.5-3 cups to keep my dog perfect size in WI winters. idk, not much experience with it, jmo

It made my dogs crap look funny.. other than that it was perfect.. I started feedin it to my walker dog that died awhile back no lie it made her run alot faster and seemed to throw more mouth on tree.. only other food that came close was purina its a toss up in my mind.. But the people who sale the diamond over here charge alot more for it than the purina so I buy purina.. that and I can send the weight stamps in.. Im a strong believer in what you feed your dogs that it effects how they hunt.. feed them bad they won't hunt as good.. feed them good they will feel better.. thats just my thoughts though
god bless and safe hunting
