I made a post then deleted it after I seen this one.I have posted the question on a couple other sites.I was wondering myself how well they picked up.I liked the fact they were compact and fairly cheap.

Have you found out anything? I agree it's a good deal. Maybe somebody with some experience with it will post on here.

Has anyone tried the Bushnell Onyx 200? I just got one last week and it has downloadable aerial maps. I downloaded the 4 free maps from the website to my unit, but somehow, I am not able to view the map on my screen. There is a downloadable PC Companion file to load on your PC to upload or download and it shows the maps are there, but for the life of me, I can't get the maps to show up. Frustrating!!!!!!!!

i have one of the backtracks...it works great and is very simple to use the only flaw i see is that its kinda slow to pick up a signal when you first turn it on other than that its a great product

The first one I had was faulty, but the the replacement works quite well. I dont know why, but sometimes I think if you turn the thing with the laynard hole away from you you get a more acurate reading. Not often, but sometimes. I'm very happy with mine. The first time you turn it on for the night it does take awhile to boot up, but the rest of the night no problem. Just turn it on on the way to the first woods and you'll be good to go the rest of the night.
